I don't know who did this.  Food art - this is an amazing display of skill! All of the details that go into making this are pretty cool.  If you think about all the time and energy that went into this, I'm surprised anyone would have the patience.  For one, food can be messy, especially if you're opening it up and trying to mold into what you'd like it to be.  Two, if you think of the time constraints involved with a lot of foods, the artist had to act quickly (for instance mold, apples for one brown if left out in the open for too long, tomatoes go rotten, etc.).  Many of these ideas are very cute and I know that I for one, appreciate the skill involved.  I've peeled oranges, and I don't think I could get the details involved in order to get the kind of effects that they did.  Not to mention, how on earth did the fruit not collapse upon itself?  So many things to take into consideration, either way: impressive.

This is one of the cooler pieces.  Who would have thought to display cauliflower as sheep? Talk about inventive.  So many ideas and thoughts come to mind when I see this.  First - how did they get the cauliflower to look like sheep? Let alone for the tomato to stand?  I really think that it would collapse under the weight of the tomato.  The idea itself - a tomato leading sheep? It's just so cool, and it goes to show that art can really be made from anything.

These two pieces also give me an inner giggle.  The use of props are really quite brilliant. It's like a play on the fruit itself. A watermelon dieing from dehydration? Honestly it's awesome - I like the use of props to demonstrate this.  The faucet along with the spider webs, on top of the details with the red eyes, and mouth.
For picture below with the knife: it's funny.  It reminds me almost of bandit movie - but with food? "Don't mess with me, I'm warning you."

When I first saw this I was kind of like "whoa! I don't think I would have ever used these materials to make a butterfly".  Again, quite impressive considering the detail.  Such thin slices of apple, on top of shaping them into wings.  Fruit can be a hassle to cut, but the shapes are quite impressive considering this is something fairly hard to do.
